Met Long Neck Karen Tribe, Chiang Rai

It's been a year since I traveled to northern Thai. 17 hours trapped in the train heading into Chiang Mai station without food and limited water is unforgettable experience in order to met the long neck karen tribe in Chiang Rai.

Just had limited time, I decided to join a city tour to Chiang Rai city and surrounding areas up to borders of Thailand, Laos and Burma. Well, As I thought, joined the tour was quite boring because I'm not the type of person who likes traveling with rush. Proven by several times the guide scolded me and my friends because we were too busy taking photos, so we were late returned to the bus and make everyone waited for us, huh!

Arrived in traditional village of Karen tribe made me so amazed looked at the little girl who wearing very heavy long necklace was weaving the typical Karen shawl. Ehm, I just can't imagine how could she live with that heavy long necklace on her little neck, even take a bath and sleep.

Yeaah! I had a chance to stop by borders of Thailand, Laos, and Burma even I've tried to cross Mekong river into Don Sao, Laos and only pay 30 baht for the visa.
